Emma is an outstanding server! From the moment we were seated, she was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations and ensured that our dining experience was top-notch. Her warm personality and professional demeanor truly set her apart. Been in Tuscaloosa for 7 months now and I’ve tried every restaurant but socal cantina is the one I can’t stop going to, the California style Mexican food is just unbeatable. I recommend getting the socal burrito with or without meat it’s still delicious also I always order chips and salsa to go which they give to me for free(only place that does that) and they’re amazing at making drinks. I find it quite hilarious to see the one star reviews and their comments because I come to eat here at all different times of the day busy or slow and I’ll always give them a 5review YOU MUST TRY THIS RESTAURANT!!!
First time here and wasn’t disappointed. My waitress was really nice and made great suggestions. Everyone had been telling me to go and I finally made it. It’s a great place to go on a Sunday as not so many places are open for drinks in a Sunday evening.
We decided to try this place out before going to a concert with friends, and we all LOVED IT!!! The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect! We will definitely be back!!!
It was really delicious as hell. I love that food so much. I get quesadillas with chicken and avocado, but I wish that they give us more sour cream dips. But it’s okay! It’s really good. Definitely will come back again next time for sure!

We came right around 11:30ish-12:00. We had just got out of church and I didn’t notice when we walked in that they were only serving brunch. The sign from the opposite direction announced it but not from the direction that we walked in. So we were LEGIT about to leave because I’d already ate breakfast that morning and wasn’t interested in “brunch” food. (I had been craving their Anaheim tacos). Anyway, our waitress went to ask manager if we could order from lunch menu anyway and THANKFULLY they said yes! Btw, thank you because I would’ve been disappointed if I had left without eating your Anaheim tacos again. My son ordered a crunch wrap and also loved it. We literally have had the best service both times I’ve visited. Definitely coming back soon and highly recommend!
